   They can get it from some database for registered voters. We were just running an outbound survey at work where we had to call voters (paid for by dem committee). Looks like Obama is going to be getting a lot of votes in November!

   Hmm, can you call people who are on a no call list?

   I will say that I didn’t interrupt the guy giving the schpeel, just waited for him to finish and then politely asked him to remove my phone number from the list. He was just doing his job (as odious as I find it working for the republicans, lol).

   The thing about the DNC list is that there is a State and Federal one and then local ones…so if you aren’t on all of the available lists they can usually end up finding a way to call you. We get updates every month at work also, so if you registered on the list today, it likely wouldn’t go into effect until sometime next month. Like everything regarding legality, its a big run around.

   That survey was the best program I’ve ever done though, it was 4 questions and normally only took 30 seconds.
