The Accepted Whispers - Loooove loooove loooove this book. In addition to learning more supplications, it provides an insight into the Prophet (saws) that one may not get from seerahs. It’s really a recording of his intimate conversations with Allah (swt)
Muslim Understanding of Other Religions - Provides a good introduction to ibn Hazm and the muslim understanding of christianity. Other religions, not so much, but then again, ibn Hazm didn’t have a lot of contact with buddhists or hindus. I was suprised at the sophisticated approach he had to the bible, and how similar it was to more modern biblical scholarship
Lectures of Sh. Nuh - got quite a few via the Shadhili Teaching website subscription.
The Most Beautiful Names of Allah - a nice little book just to read if you want to think about Allah (swt).
Muhammad : His Life Based on the Earliest Sources : Revised Edition : Martin Lings - I’m normally a very fast reader, but this book took me weeks. I dedicated half an hour each night before bed and dove in, reading each word deliberately and soaking myself in the Prophet’s (saws) life. I definately learned a lot.
